HID Cockpit Floodlight 10 Watt
The Pyramid Tech 10 Watt HID Cockpit Floodlights are among the most advanced marine lights available today. Pyramid Tech, leaders in HID lighting, has refined the technology found in luxury car headlights and made it practical and affordable for use as a marine floodlight.
Xenon HID technology provides a light that gives four times the light per watt of electricity compared to Halogen technology. Input power is slightly less than 1.2 Amps at 12 Volts DC, yet the light generated is brighter than the usual 55 Watt Halogen which draws 4.5 Amps! And, unlike other HID lights, Pyramid Tech puts the HID ballast in the light fixture itself. This makes installation the same as for a conventional light. As there is no filament to burn out, Xenon HID bulb life is 2.5 times greater than that of a Halogen bulb.
